ok so i'm gonna tell this story as if i was my dad. so from here on i'm Brian :)
i was at Kroger on the morning of december December 24 getting food for the christmas eve party. The woman in line was taking a long time to check out, but i stayed quiet and patient. The man behind me, however, was not as calm (or sober) as me. "if she cant pay for her food, why did she even come out" the man grumbled. I turned around with a snotty look on my face and said "if you're in such a hurry, why dont u take my place in line." I thought he was going to for a minute, but then he said "It's been a while since you've had ur a** beat hasn't it?" Did this guy really think we were going to duke it out in front of the Hershey's bars and OK! magazines?? I looked him in the eye and said "yea it has been. you wanna try?" and that was when the bagboy ninjas descended upon us. Before he even had time to react, there were 2 bagboys between us, arms spread out in case a punch was thrown. I guess there wont be a grocery store beatdown today.....
ok so i'm Rachel again. Isnt that crazyy?? for those of you who know my dad, he definitely isnt the type of guy to get in2 a fight at a grocery store. but aparently, if he had 2 he would! i mean, sure, he's a menacing 6'4'', but he's a teddy bear lol
the song "it's goin down" just popped in2 my head........meet me in Kroger, it's goin down. anywhereu meet me, guarantee its goin down....... ~Sharayray <3

Tally Rally
and there I was, surrounded by a wave of italian relatives that i love and the most delicious food i have ever eaten? whats a girl to do? ;)
here's what: eat like a man. And that's exactly what i did :) Tonight was the annual Pinti family Christmas Eve party at my house, and as usual, the highlight of my year. 35 italians, and over 30 traditional italian dishes to choose from. can you say yumm??
We all got together at my house around 5:30, and everybody left around 8:30. my cousin Mark put on my aund Cara's scarf and was doing those male model poses (flexing, staring off into the distance, etc..). He's a character lol. And then there's me, with my teased hair, pettycoat skirt, and converse. Its kinda funny to see how i stand out in the group of my preppy cousins lol.
After everyone left, me and my sistes carried on the tradition of opening our gifts from Memaw and Poppy on Christmas Eve Night. I got 3 different kinds of bodywash: Twisted Peppermint, Candy Cane, and Mint Chocolate Truffles. Do they think I smell bad or something? I also got a really nice leather rolling scrapbook supply case, jam packed with 2 scrapbooks, loads of stickers, paper, stencils, punchouts, etc. I literally can't fit anything else in that bag. Rachel happy :) Along with that, I got a shirt, sweater, a cloth scrapbook bag for travel, ridiculously soft socks, and a head wrap towel thingy (??) . it was a good night :)
We also have the tradition of giving our parents their gifts on Christmas Eve Night. We gave my dad the complete series of Star Trek on Blu-Ray DVD. I thought he was going to dirty himself. I know who's gonna me occupying the theater for the rest of christmas break!! (at least until i get my seaon1 of Glee).
i'll be posting pictures of christmas eve soon (including Mark being a model), so be sure to keep checking in!
well im going 2 go 2 bed so santa can come ;) hopefully he'll leave me a guitar!! nitee :)

Here we go a caroling
idk what the title is about lol i just needed something clever to put as the title :) i did go christmas caroling today with my boyfriend Alex and my friends Lori, Maggie, and Daniel. We just went to random houses in the neighborhood and sang christmas carols to people. we did get off with some stuff tho. We aparently looked cold and pathetic, cuz people kept giving us money (pshaa), christmas cookies, and candy canes lol. I am not opposed to any of the previous gifts lol
so today i went to my friend Isaacs house for a gingerbread house making competition...i paired up with Mia and we totally dominated. we had a musical gingerbread house with a sixteenth note on one side of the roof and 3 eighth notes on the other side :) We kinda flippin rule.

gotta love italians!
so here's the thing about Italians: we're loud. Whether we're out in public or in our own homes, our volume level is at 100. Take my Poppy for example. When we're at his and my Grandpa's house, there's no telling what kind of stuff we're gonna hear. Whether it may be unholy language or just random stuff, trust me, everybody in the house heard it.
Also, us italian women believe in "italiation". This is the genious combination of italian and retaliation. italiation means that if someone were to do something to you such as slap you on the face, you then have the right to sock that person's lights out. get it?
Hope i've enlightened those of you who care :P Cao Bella!

Walk Like An Eskimo
the snow fort and tunnel is halfway done!

we just HAD to have at least one silly picture in here!

While everyone in the house was trying to get warm, me, hannah, my sister Emily, and my sister's friend lexie were outside braving the elements (i had my footie pajamas on underneath my snow gear). Emily had so many layers on that we could barely see her eyes! We got to work on Saturday Morning around 10:00am and came inside around 5:00pm. While we were out there, we built the most flippin awesome snow tunnel and cave you have ever laid eyes on. I spent about an hour inside the tunnel hollowing it out, lexie helped scoop out all the extra snow, and Hannah and Emily built the cave walls.
You may think that this all is child's play. *insert game show buzzer sound here*. WRONG. The whole think took about 3 days to finish. That's right. 3 days.
After being snowed in at our house for three days, hannah's mother finally braved the ice and snow and came to the rescue of her daughter today. Glad to know she cares.
